- BS/BA degree or combination of education & experience
- 8+ years of IT experience in designing architectures and delivering information systems including software, data/information architecture, application architecture and technical infrastructure architecture, system analysis, design, and development, with a minimum of three years focused on large system development and with a fundamental understanding of infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT architect (combination of solution architect, system architect, application architect, technical architect, security architect, software architect)
- Fluency in architecture and design across all systems
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks and best practices for enterprise level solutions
- Experience in leading and reviewing designs and implementations with senior engineers
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with technical and business teams
- 3+ years of experience in Medicaid and/or healthcare systems development projects
- 3+ years of expert experience in C# or any other OO programming languages, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, Angular, REST, SOAP, Web Services and RDBMS/SQL
- 1+ years of experience in IT security architecture or working closely with IT security professionals
- Demonstrate effective leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Stay abreast of current technologies in area of IT assigned
- Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations as well as interact effectively with peers and management across diverse cultures and fast-paced environment
- Recognize patterns and opportunities for improvement throughout the entire organization
