You will maintain training records to meet internal and external compliance requirements and respond to audit requests as needed. This role is responsible for skill development and planning, designing and delivering training programs that make the best use of employee's current and future technical abilities.
Applies highly developed specialist knowledge and skills in thedesign, development and delivery oftraining programs, work with managers on learning needs of their staff through vehicles such as training needs analyses.
Source and evaluate third partytraining programs.
The Senior Specialist level role will typically be responsible forcomplex analysisof the training needs of employees to developtraining programsthat enhance their know-how, skills, and performance.
Design, resource, and delivertraining programs, or recommend externally-provided programs, which meet the needs of individuals and areconsistentwith the organization’s overall training plan.
Counsel employees about the organization'straining programsand policies and arrange for them to participate in internal and external training so the organization’s training resources are allocated effectively.
Maintain and analyze organization andindividual trainingrecords in order to monitor the effectiveness of internal and externaltraining programs.
Compile handbooks, manuals, guides, and other materials sotraining programsare delivered with high quality resources.
Responsible for on-the-job training process forManufacturingwhich includes development of materials and oversight of process. Partners withManufacturingin execution of on-the-job training.
Analyzes andreportstrainingmetrics.
Provides CRIACE leadership for the site
Keep abreast of developments and innovations in training and education in industry and government education sectors so the organization’s training activities remain current and relevant.
In addition, may be responsible fordesigning,resourcingand delivering larger, more complextraining programs.
Provides daily guidance and direction to training personnel on task assignments and expectations.
Oversees the completion of training requirements for site employees.
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.Pay and ShiftThis is a salaried position working Monday through Friday on day shift. This roles supports a 24/7 manufacturing site. Flexibility in hours is required to provide as needed support to all crews and oversight of the Technical Training team.Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED required
3+ years in a training or related fields
Leadership experience
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge ofMicrosoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in training design and delivery
Analytical skills to makedata-driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications
Associates Degree in relevant field
2+ years of leadership experience
Proven working experience in project management and/or business process implementation
