Lead the WMS PDO product team (WMS – In to the warehouse) and collaborate with L1+, BASIS, Security, IT CMMS, SMART and ITO teams to launch WMS (SAP EWM) in NA warehouses. Closely look at related modernization opportunities and roll out technical upgrades, projects, improvement opportunities to generate higher business value.Responsibilities

Lead/Rally approx. 10-12 team members from diverse technical / functional areas from Ford, Agency, Purchased services located in AP and enable successful WMS launches

Possess strong integration skills and drive collaboration amongst the skill teams (IT WMS, CMMS, SMART PDOs, Vendors, Site IT, L1+, GSCI, Plant MFE teams) to complete fit gap analysis, development, UAT, user trainings, Launch activities, Hyper care as per the agreed schedules with the GSCI team.

Ability to drive simultaneous launches across different plants

Exhibit stake holder management skills across hierarchy (Plant Business) and ensure effective Governance (Risk/Issues Management, Work/scope Prioritization)

Leverage backlog management tools (Rally) and drive alignment across stakeholders to Prioritize items that deliver maximum value for the warehouses

Effectively work with vendor teams in NA / AP to remove impediments and drive adherence to schedules

Encourage new ideas and support PoC study for modernization and encourage Design Thinking and Lean Start-Up practices

Groom the teams to work in a flat-organization, open culture which values 'knowledge over hierarchy', 'asking questions' & 'challenging status quo'

Ensure adherence to all security, legal & other Ford standard and policy compliance

Own team member's knowledge and career development with focus on building Ford's competencies in the SAP EWM space

Possess good knowledge of Procurement processes, Vendor contracting processes, Financial management, budgeting skills.

Possess good knowledge of APPTIO forecasting / Consumption Planning and OKR processes

Selection Criteria

Years of experience in IT – 10+ years, with progressive enhancement in responsibilities

Strong functional experience in Material Planning & Logistics function.

Experience in leading implementation of COTS / SaaS solution (SAP-EWM experience preferred or wider SAP experience)

Demonstrated track record of working with multiple integration and cross-functional skill teams (within IT / Business) and delivering products

Qualifications Required:

10+ years of software delivery experience with progressive responsibilities

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a relevant field / equivalent work experience

Understanding of the complex Material Planning & Logistics portfolio landscape

Ability to work in an evolving environment, thought leadership and forward thinking.

Should be able to collaborate well with peers and other groups (within the product) to drive delivery faster.

Strong leadership skills; able to effectively work with cross-functional teams across business and IT

Should be able to effectively articulate and present concepts to senior leadership (IT & Business)
