Weekend Shift SupervisorThis position is located in Byesville, Ohio.Friday, Saturday, & Sunday SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Weekend Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Byesville, OH. In this critical role, you will oversee weekend shift operations, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter while performing the essential job functions in a manufacturing environment which may include loud noise levels, vibration, hot/cold temperatures, and moving objects or vehicles.Essential Job FunctionsSupervise and coordinate all production activities during the weekend shift, ensuring production goals are metResponsible for daily shift meetings, workstation assignments/rotations, shift paperwork, timecard and production sheet approvalsManage production schedules, employee performance, payroll, attendance, timecards, training and disciplinary actionsCollaborate with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and consistent operationsConsistently evaluate productivity and current staff to optimize production efficiencies to meet schedulesResponsible for quality control, working with team members to adjust as necessary during shift to produce product within specificationsManage and motivate team members to achieve production goalsSupport safety policies and procedures within the plant; including safety accident investigation and reportingSchedule, communicate, and conduct shift meetings as neededEnsure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environmentOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)Provide continuous feedback in an environment that fosters open communicationFollow all Company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedSkills and Abilities:Proficiency in computer systems, including ERP software and Microsoft Office suiteStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge of production processes and quality control methodsMust exhibit time management skillsRegular attendance is essentialProfessional, detail oriented, and dependableEmployee and customer drivenEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business or related field preferredHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredMinimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory roleShift: Friday - Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pmTraining on 1st shift required (Mon - Thurs 6:00am - 4:30pm)Ready to lead our weekend shift team?
