Description The Bilingual Payroll and HR Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing and processing biweekly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees, and maintaining detailed payroll records. This role involves handling employee benefits, responding to inquiries, and supporting various HR functions. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.This position is 100% on-siteKey Responsibilities:Payroll Processing:Process payroll biweekly: Review hours, run time and detail report, manually enter per diem into Paycom, run check register preview report, and review any errors that appear during the process.Review and correct errors on employee hours before processing payroll.Count employee per diem and record on Per Diem spreadsheets, then sort and total per job.Calculate funds needed for each corporation before payroll for transfer processing.Update timesheets for each crew and expense (per diem) spreadsheet for each corporation.Post-Payroll Activities:Save three payroll reports from Paycom (Cash Requirements, Check Register, and Deduction reports).Run, save, and sort GL reports in PDF and Excel from Paycom, combine all reports in one file.Enter all reports and information into QuickBooks for payroll and expenses (per diem).Enter supervisor’s attendance per day in an Excel spreadsheet, update 115s, and lock timecards.Paycom and Benefits Administration:Work with a Paycom specialist to understand Paycom and all its offerings—daily/weekly.Oversee insurance benefits concerns and updates in Paycom.Communicate with BCBS weekly on discrepancy reports and provide correct information.Employee Relations:Enter new hire applications into Paycom, upload paper applications to computer file, and maintain a hard file.Welcome new employees, explain benefits and the Paycom app, and be available for questions and concerns.Communicate with employees regarding concerns or questions about hours, benefits, and pay during and after office hours.Compliance and Administration:Receive and upload garnishment letters or notices to Paycom and maintain a file.Receive unemployment letters or notices, gather information, contact them if needed, reply, and maintain a file.Help answer the office phone, direct calls, or answer questions.Keep IRS forms up to date.Assist in the office wherever needed.Requirements Bilingual fluency in English and another language.Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration.Proficiency in Paycom, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.This role is vital to ensuring smooth payroll operations and effective HR support within the organization.
