Billing Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Credit Clerk to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role primarily revolves around processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and addressing customer credit queries in the telecom industry. As part of your role, you will be expected to monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions for delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records Handle customer credit inquiries and provide resolutions swiftly Monitor customer credit accounts regularly Take appropriate actions to collect overdue payments Employ data entry skills to manage and organize credit-related information Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies related to credit processing Collaborate with the Billing Clerk and other team members to ensure smooth operations Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Report to management about any irregularities or discrepancies found in credit processes. Requirements Proficiency in data entry Familiarity with billing procedures Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize workload High school diploma or equivalent qualification Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with billing software is a plus Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
