Clothing Presser

American Cleaners is in search of pressers. The Pressing Specialist is responsible for ensuring garments are professionally pressed to meet client expectations. Experience is preferred but we will are willing to train the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities – The primary duties and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

· Operate pressing equipment to remove wrinkles and restore garments to their intended shape and appearance.

· Handle a variety of fabrics and textiles, including delicate and specialty items, ensuring proper care and techniques are applied.

· Ensure garments meet company standards for quality and presentation before sending them for inspection.

· Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of pressing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

· Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of equipment and handling of steam or heat-related tools.

· Collaborate with other employees to maintain an efficient workflow in the plant.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience in a dry cleaning or laundry facility is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Spanish speaking is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and move items up to 10 lbs.

Comfortable working in a warm and humid environment.
