JOB ROLE:Oil and Gas company in Tulsa is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to join our growing production team in Tulsa, OK. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate CNC boring mills and similar machinery with minimal supervision, producing high-quality parts.

- Perform full machine setup, operation, and inspection, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances and efficient production

- Interpret technical documents, including blueprints, manuals, and specifications to determine machining requirements

- Mark materials with reference points and dimensions for accurate machining

- Identify and correct machine malfunctions or deviations, making adjustments as needed; report major issues to supervisor

- Support resolution of complex operational issues and participate in cost-reduction initiatives

- Use forklifts and lifting devices to move parts safely

- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other personnel to address production and quality concerns

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area; perform routine preventative maintenance

- Enforce and follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies

- Perform additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3-5 years of experience operating CNC horizontal boring mills (HBMs) in a heavy manufacturing environment

- Proficiency with Fanuc controls

- Ability to perform complete machine setups independently

- Advanced ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T

- Solid math skills, including geometry and algebra, for fabrication calculations

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

- Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers (ID/OD), depth gauges, indicators, and scales

- Familiar with various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and machine inserts
