Summary As a C/Unix Programmer Analyst at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your programming and analytic skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our mission Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell's industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.- Reviews Codes, tests done, documents and implements programs according to the specifications provided.
- Provides moderately complex to complex technical and production support to end-users.
- Participates in creating unit and other test plans for assigned programming tasks.
- Reviews and analyses writing program specifications, and reviews design of programs of routine complexity and for basic enhancements to existing programs.
- Recommends changes to client software based on information such as client feedback, language changes and new technology.
- 5+ years of working in C/Unix Linux Systems (Java and/or .NET experience is a plus),
- 2+ years SQL (Oracle preferred), PL/SQL, complex SQL work experience and query tuning expertise.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Office 365, Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Healthcare/Medicaid (MMS/MMIS) work experience is a plus especially TPL (Third Party Liability).
- Expertise in Batch job automation and notification services, preferred IBM IWS work scheduler.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work remotely, to include strong verbal and written communications skills.
