Summary

As a EDI C/Unix Programmer Analyst at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your programming and analytical skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our mission

Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell's industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.
  • Reviews Codes, tests done, documents and implements programs according to the specifications provided.
  • Provides moderately complex to complex technical and production support to end-users.
  • Participates in creating unit and other test plans for assigned programming tasks.
  • Reviews and analyses writing program specifications, and reviews design of programs of routine complexity and for basic enhancements to existing programs.
  • Recommends changes to client software based on information such as client feedback, language changes and new technology.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of working in C/Unix Linux Systems, also Java and/or .NET experience is a plus,
  • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, complex SQL work experience and query tuning expertise.
  • Healthcare/Medicaid work experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in Batch job automation and notification services.
  • Experience in working with Healthcare EDI X12 transactions sets (820,835,270,271,277,834,837), EDI NCPDP transaction set, also experience with EDI translator product, and handling FTP/SFTP job processing would be a plus.

The pay range for this position is $52,900.00 - $75,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
