A producer of an oil and gas tool has opening for an experienced Electronic Assembler Quality Inspector.
Previous experience inspecting PCB assemblies to IPC class 2 or class 3 standards is preferred. The position will require the ability to read and understand production documentation, including bills of materials, basic assembly drawings, and device specifications. Experience working in an ESD-sensitive area. Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes and multimeters. Any previous experience in a manufacturing and light assembly environment. Working in a multi-product, mixed manufacturing environment.
The electronic Assembly QC person is crucial in maintaining our high-quality standards, involves the inspection of high-technology PCBs populated with SMD and PTH components and the quality control of finished electronics products.
-Key job responsibilities:
Inspection of assembled and partially assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic assemblies, according to IPC class 2 equivalent standards. Inspection of bare boards and other electronic components prior to manufacturing. Detailed inspection of first-off builds using engineering documentation with direct support from our local engineering team. Occasional inspection of prototypes, rework, and PCB modifications.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 hr plus depending on experience
