Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution and demilitarization of munitions. This position serves as a Facilities Improvement Specialist, GS-1601-09, located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes; Provide administrative assistance to project manager. Assist project manager in planning or coordinating large-scale projects; Assist senior specialists with financial analysis; Assist senior specialists with research and data collection for financial advisories; Assist in monitoring fiscal progress throughout the entire project; Assist in developing data required to complete various technical reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-07. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Facilities Operations and Maintenance Facilities Reporting and Record-Keeping Facilities Requirements Analysis and Planning Written Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
