Writing, editing, and prooing communications plans, blogs/op-eds, social copy, internal news articles, messaging, and materials establishing quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles;

Developing relationships with journalists;

Demonstrating knowledge about the news cycle, B2B news, and how media is changing;

Crafting story ideas based on people stories and firm strategies;

Conducting communications landscape research to analyze the competitive landscape, determine brand perceptions, identify new opportunities, and provide actionable insights;

Measuring and analyzing integrated communications performance across earned (news) media and social media;

Demonstrating knowledge of news and social monitoring tools such as Bloomberg, Muck Rack, Cision, Talkwalker, Brandwatch;

Leveraging knowledge of MS Excel and Google suite of tools required with a willingness to learn additional analysis tools;

Paying attention to detail to establish consistent accurate data;

Evidencing communication skills, both written and verbal;

Using business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills;

Navigating complexity and ambiguity and practicing resourcefulness;

Helping to support change management initiatives;

Activating social media campaigns through the appropriate channels;

Guiding senior firm leaders on communications tactics;

Utilizing project management skills to manage multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment while adapting to new priorities;

Collaborating with Managers and Directors on strategic priorities and projects (research & analysis, media relations, social media marketing, content development and distribution, reporting) as well as counterparts in M&S analytics; and,

Identifying industry-leading technologies and analysis practices and sharing knowledge with the team.
