The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Operations Production Engineering Senior Manager will oversee a team providing manufacturing process engineering work instructions and technical guidance to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support of the F117, F119 and F135 production delivery schedules.What You Will Do : The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Lead all areas of production engineering, processes, work instructions, quality requirements and regulatory requirements

Help to develop and enforce standardized engineering practices, processes, tools, and methods across all products

Support Continuous Improvement, project management, quality improvement efforts

Manage the engineering resources and assignments across the business

Assist in developing solutions for significant production-related problems

Oversee the F117, F119 and F135 Production Engineers

Qualifications You Must Have :

Bachelor’s Degree from ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology)

10+ years of Engineering experience, or 7+ years with an advanced degree.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

At least 5 years of leadership and managerial skills is required.

Creative problem solver, able to coach others to solve problems independently and in group settings.

Prior experience in process engineering and/or aerospace is highly desirable.

Knowledge and effective practice of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, specifically the practice of aerospace quality practices like ISO9001 AS9100. Including a working knowledge of quality and process improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
