System One is seeking an Insurance Follow Up Representative for a dynamic organization in Tulsa, OK. This position requires a strong team player, who is attentive to details, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of filing insurance claims, determining write-offs, and resolving claim issues. Responsibilities:
Audit patient accounts to ensure that insurance/billing information is accurate
Resolve insurance/billing discrepancies
Coordination & troubleshooting of benefits
Analyze, document and distribute information on new and changing insurance/billing policies
Act as liaison between billing team, clinic office team, and insurance companies
Track outstanding balances; ensure that the billing team is privy to existing Financial Blessing Forms
Follow up on provider credentialing
Facilitate referrals/authorizations
Analyze encounter reports as an audit check to ensure the correct insurance information is entered into the billing system, necessary referrals or authorizations have been received and documented, and that other changes have not been overlooked
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Previous experience working with aging reports and insurance follow up practices
High School Diploma or equivalent
Self-directed, self-motivated personality with a desire to be part of a team environment
Knowledge of payer regulations and requirements based on clinic/provider in-network or out of network policies
Able to work in a shared, small office environment
Strong attention to detail
Compensation:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
