IT Control Center Technician (NOC) - 3rd shiftONEOK is currently looking for an ITCC (NOC) technician to fill an opening on 3rd shift. This opening is a long-term contract role. The shift we're hiring for is currently 3rd shift, but flexibility is a must as this could change. The work days will be determined by days available on shift after their training. The training will consist of two to three weeks working various shifts to accommodate learning different tasks performed per shift. Once training is completed they will then move to their specific shift. This position will primarily focus on monitoring various infrastructure and application systems, troubleshooting communications outages, assisting with application accesses, providing email communications from IT, and coordinating IT outage resolution. During 3rd shifts timeframe (12:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.) the team covers ONEOK's Service Desk calls in addition, but not limited to the above activities. This position may be asked to perform a swing shift to ensure coverage due to vacation and illness as well as periodic shift rotation to ensure they remain familiar with all ITCC processes on all shifts. ONEOK is open to any candidates with the necessary experience and skills to fill these roles. We're eager to see candidates with experience in the areas of Windows Server 2012+, SCCM, SCOM, or related skills. Candidates with Network skills and experience are sought after as well. Experience with monitoring tools for servers, applications and networking devices is desired. A fundamental understanding of these areas are important as well as someone qualified to assist with our day to day tasks. The position will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following: Monitor Automic (UC4) Automation Engine for scheduled job completion -Ensure scheduled jobs complete correctly and timely -Follow job-specific documentation and processes to restart failed jobsMonitor SCOM for various systems and applications -Basic diagnostics of server connectivity -Restart services/servers via provided tools as documented -Knowledge to engage correct SME team for service restorationMonitor LAN/WAN health -Troubleshoot local site issues vs. circuit/MPLS issues -Coordinate with carrier or Telecom and local contacts to restore servicesCommunicate information on a regular basis about outages and issues to IT -Ensure time-based communication of outage state and resolution are sent to appropriate segments of IT by severity -Remain informed of relevant outage situation to be able to provide insight as requested from other IT members and management.Develop e-mail communication for All Users about outages and other IT Information Monitor E-Mail to the Service Desk for break/fix issuesProvide technical support to callers with problems (afterhours)Facilitate, coordinate, and manage conference bridges with IT professionals to ensure core services are restored during IT service interruptions. All of these tasks require: Ability to analyze alarm conditions as presented by multiple monitoring applications (UC4, SCOM, FireEye, and others) 2+ years previous experience in a 24x7x365 IT Operations environment (preferred NOC or Infrastructure Support role) Experience with analyzing system and network performance using monitoring, historical, and graphical data Experience with LAN and WAN internetworking devices like routers and switches (CCENT or better certification preferred) Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2 - 2012 R2. Understanding of domain principles, DNS, and DHCP preferred.
