We are currently seeking a Lead/Manager of Data Analytics for our client located in T

ulsa, OK. This is a full-time opportunity - hybrid, requiring one to work from the Tulsa office 3 days a week. Description:The Manager, Analytics Engineering provides leadership to the Data Analytics team and develops a clear data analytics vision and roadmap for the enterprise. This role will lead the data analytics and business intelligence strategy, governance and roadmap execution to enable business value through the use of data and analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership
  • Lead the development of the Analytics engineering function and lead a team of engineers.
  • Lead and influence the Data Analytics direction with key leaders, and align team structure to meet strategic goals.
  • Lead data literacy initiatives.

Collaboration
  • Collaborate with a diverse set of users and partners to translate unstructured, complex business problems into appropriate data, modeling and analytical solutions that drive business value.
  • Work with both Business and IT leaders to help craft the overall strategy and roadmap for Data Analytics.
  • Partner to collect and develop use cases for real-time operational reporting, statistical analysis, and application of machine learning, working with our data science team, to support Operations, Commercial, Engineering, and all other enterprise support groups.
  • Contribute to many different projects in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Deliver solutions to users in an extremely rapid, agile cycle.

Data Analytics/Strategy
  • Responsible for identifying innovative data and analytics solutions to support key business priorities by partnering closely with business stakeholders and teams.
  • Establish, enhance, and manage scalable data analytics for midstream data including technical analysis, operational metrics, statistical process control, univariate and multivariate analyses, and process analytics.
  • Develop a strategy to mature data analytics architecture, enterprise reporting, and data analytics skills in the organization.
  • Champion the use of data, technology & newer tools to optimize solutions and continuous process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors' degree in finance, economics engineering, science, mathematics, or master's in data science or equivalent is highly preferred with 8+ yrs of experience implementing and maintaining technology to support process analytics or equivalent.

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs):
  • Demonstrated thought leadership at industry level.
  • A proven experience and understanding of architecting, designing, and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions in AWS.
  • Experience implementing and supporting analytics using Spotfire, Qlik or similar platforms.
  • 6+ years of experience writing SQL queries and understanding complex data models.
  • Understanding of industry technology trends in process analytics, database technologies, machine learning, data integrity and statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies like EC2, S3, Redshift etc.
  • Experience mapping complex processes, understanding data flows, and writing detailed functional requirements to support the development of trends/metrics.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and lead teams to reach a common goal
  • Ownership and drive with digital mindsets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively within a team of cross-functional stakeholders to influence decisions at every level of the organization.
  • Self-directed with effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to drive results on multiple complex assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

PreferredBachelors or better.They will manage a team of 4 data engineers and there will probably be 2 more people added throughout the year.The team is self-motivated and passionate. They don't need a task master they just need someone who can influence change and get things done.

They want someone technical.Cloud experience is a plus!- Any cloud is ok but they are AWS.
