Maintenance tech - potential full time position

FastFixr provides maintenance and repair services for property managers. Our motto is “fixed fast, fixed once, fixed right." We're looking for an experienced maintenance technician with single-family and multi-family residential rentals. We require 2 years of maintenance technician experience. Candidates without this requirement will not be considered. A qualified maintenance technician has experience with the following:

basic wiring and installation of fixtures and switches, including ceiling and exhaust fans

basic plumbing, including toilets, faucets, garbage disposals and dishwashers

basic carpentry, including trim, interior and exterior doors, and cabinets

various types of home repair

sheet rock installation, patching, texture, including taping and painting

keen attention to detail

ability to plan and prioritize multiple jobs in various locations

ability to take direction and follow instructions while working independently

Additional criteria include a stable work history, legal authorization to work in the US, a valid driver's license, and insurability. All employees must pass a background check. Candidates must be available for work Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional overtime.

This position requires strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and excellent verbal and written communication skills - we like those who over-communicate. Candidates must be very familiar with standard systems, fixtures and layouts of residential construction.
