Job Title: Maintenance Technician.Job Preview: The ideal candidate will have experience with the following: Understand Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Demonstrate values and behaviors which are aligned with CGS core elements and culture. Have a working knowledge and experience with 24v to 480v electrical systems. Display willingness to learn new technology and collaborate with a team. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with ability to proactively handle multiple projects, while staying organized and committed to production deadlines. Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment for proper functionality, be able to diagnose electrical, mechanical and controls issues to get machinery back online. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair machines. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers, wiring, electrical and electronic components, machinery, and equipment. Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of the facility, installs, programs, or repairs, automated machinery, and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers. Experience with a grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools. Fabricates and repair simple structures. Performs preventive maintenance on specified machinery according to preventive maintenance program instructions.Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance tech. within an industrial manufacturing/production facility. Must be proficient with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Any welding experience as well as experience and safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and tow motors is a plus.Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3pm -11pm.
