Manager Oracle Applications you will lead major initiatives on the Oracle Fusion ERP / HCM Cloud platform. You will be involved in the design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment activities for a company-wide multi-year program focused on migration of legacy fleet, revenue, receivable, licensee and partner compensation systems to the Hertz Oracle Cloud platform. The position will collaborate with team members, vendors, business partners, and management leveraging Oracle Cloud technology to provide modern digital solutions for the Hertz Global Finance Shared Services, Sourcing, Procurement, and Human Resources departments. The Manager Oracle Applications is a high performing techno functional leader who can scope and manage all aspects of project delivery including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, integrations, data conversion, review and approval of vendor deliverables, test script development, and implementation planning and execution. The Manager Oracle Applications has exceptional communication and project management skills and leverages these skills to collaborate with implementation partners, business leaders, process owners, and technology teams to deliver business value and process improvements. The Manager Oracle Applications has solid experience and expert knowledge of a mix of Oracle Cloud modules including Payables, Cash Management, Receivables, Procurement, Contracts, General Ledger, Accounting Hub, Assets, Project Financials, and Risk Management as well as solid working knowledge of Oracle Cloud PaaS Services and Integration technology to lead the growth and optimization of Hertz's Oracle Cloud platform. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Corporate Systems ERP/HCM.

BUSINESS IMPACT: This role is critical to support Global Finance Shared Services, Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Human Resources and Audit.

Job Contributions- what wil you do Key responsibilities of the Manager Oracle Applications include:
  • Serve as key tactical leader collaborating with business partners and vendors on the full system development life cycle (SDLC) including functional specifications, technical specifications, code changes, testing, quality assurance, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Leverage expert Oracle Cloud technology knowledge to collaborate with the Hertz business leaders in making recommendations on scope, size, effort, and technical approach to launch new Oracle Cloud project initiatives and execute to completion.
  • Deliver key enterprise technology transformation initiatives
  • Review and approve vendor deliverables
  • Develop and enforce standards for configuration, code and process.
  • Lead enterprise integration efforts between Oracle and internal/external applications.
  • Provide day to day support of the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform including tickets, troubleshooting, quarterly releases, month-end support, and ad-hoc requests from business users and audit.
  • Support global month-end close activities across tracks
  • Serve as escalation point for key global business leaders for questions, issues, and problem resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with key IT SOX and Audit Controls

Experience and Qualifications

Education:
  • Masters or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent.
  • PMP certification desirable
  • Oracle Cloud certifications desirable

Professional Experience:
  • Oracle ERP experience 10+ years
  • Oracle Procure to Pay process experience 10+ years
  • Oracle Order to Cash process experience 10+ years
  • Oracle AIM Methodology 5+ years
  • Project Management Experience 5+ years
  • Demonstrated large scale Oracle project implementation and delivery history

Knowledge:
  • Expert knowledge in at least two of the following Oracle Cloud modules: Payables, Cash Management, Receivables, Procurement, Contracts, General Ledger, Accounting Hub, Assets, Project Financials, and Risk Management

  • Oracle Cloud functional and technical skills
