Under indirect supervision of the department manager, the Manufacturing Engineer performs detailed or routine manufacturing engineering assignments involving processes and methods, tooling and machine designs, cost estimates, and/or resolving engineering problems involved in the manufacturing of products.  Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in Manufacturing
Act as liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering
Create and maintain engineering & manufacturing documentation
Lead and support projects focused on process improvement, quality control, and lean manufacturing
Managing and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with corporate policies and procedures
Generate routings
Investigate labor variances and correct standards as needed
Lead or support Capital Expenditure Projects
Respond and implement process change requests as required
Identify opportunity for productivity improvements related to equipment, methods of manufacturing and workflow enhancements and recommend and implement
Process Engineering Change Notices
Support Global R&D Program
Review engineering designs for “design for manufacturability”
Identify and assist with safety improvements on shop floor
Analyze time studies and actual versus standard labor hours
Lead kick-off meetings for engineered products
