Description:Priority of an Operations Representative will be to help dispatch calls from truck drivers, handling shipments, taking inbound calls from drivers that are reporting any problems/issues they are having, etc. As an Operations Representative you will ensure operational excellence through supporting both internal and external customers and carriers. You will do this by tracking and tracing our shipments, making appointments, entering shipment data, communicating to help resolve issues and ensure on time departures/arrivals. You will also provide excellent customer service to our carriers and customers. Deliver operational excellence to customers, carriers and suppliers. Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls ensuring outstanding customer service. Schedule appointments via phone, email and company website. Provide timely and accurate shipment information to carriers. Audit load information for accuracy and completion. Complete customer, carrier and supplier requests with a sense of urgency. Track and trace shipments in a timely manner to best serve our customers. Enter shipment data ensuring a commitment to quality and accuracy.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1+ year of customer service experience in a call center environment
Previous experience in trucking industry or dispatching is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft programs
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Training:Training will be on-site/in-office M-F 9:00am-5:30pm for the first 2 weeks.Shift:After training is completed, candidates will be required to work Friday-Tuesday 7:00am-3:30pm with (Wednesday and Thursday OFF).Hybrid Information: Once the candidate has met all their metrics, candidates will be able to work ALMOST fully remote - they would only need to come in office once a month as of now. Please be aware that the position can end up switching back to in office based on business needs in the future.
