System One is seeking candidates for a Quality Engineer opportunity in the Tulsa area. Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Understanding of engineering principles
ISO 9000 trained or certified.
Knowledge of heat exchanger, boiler, pipe, and pumps industries preferred
Knowledge of codes and specs pertaining to pressure vessels and piping
Proficient in reading customer drawings and product specifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient user of Microsoft 365 applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
Education, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
2D and 3D CAD experience
2+ years CAD and CAM software experience
4+ years in a Quality leadership role
Must be a Certified Quality Assurance Professional, or similar.
Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.
Modifies and updates quality manuals with the latest processes, procedures, and products.
Develop a new quality improvement process and procedures to cover all aspects of the operation (manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, suppliers, incoming material, etc.).
Develops a quality tracking system in line with nationally known systems.
Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
Completes AWS weld inspections to ensure quality requirements are met.
Maintains all document archive and traceability.
Coordinates calibration and certification of all test and measurement equipment
Supports the implementation and management of a new ERP solution.
Coordinates with third-part inspectors
