Job Title: Radiology TechnologistJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Radiologic Technologists to join our team. The successful candidates will be specializing in x-ray procedures, using digital radiography (DR) for a dynamic range, faster rate, and dose efficiency. In addition, they will be utilizing a Shimadzu portable system to take X-Rays of patients' extremities. Along with these technical responsibilities, the role involves assisting with front and back office medical assistant duties such as point-of-care testing, taking vitals, and rooming patients. Our facility operates 7 days a week with a rotating work schedule.Hard Skills
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to operate x-ray equipment
Experience in performing radiographic images
Familiarity with Shimadzu portable system
Soft Skills
Ability to collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants
Excellent communication skills
Ability to explain x-ray procedures to patients
Capable of critiquing positioning, technical factors, and collimation
Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 1040 Hour(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Edmond, Oklahoma.Work EnvironmentThe successful candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, urgent care clinic and be responsible for checking-in patients as they arrive and helping room patients. Flexibility in working at multiple locations within a 30-mile radius is a must. Transportation should not be an issue with traveling to different centers. Breaks are broken up into 15-minute increments throughout the day to ensure the clinic is not unattended for long periods. The rotating schedule includes Monday, Tuesday from 8-8, Wednesday from 8-2 for one week, and the next week, Wednesday 2-8, Thursday/Friday from 8-8, and every other weekend from 9-5pm.
