As the Retail Manager, you will have a strong customer service focus and experience with retail food concepts.The successful candidate will identify customer needs and expectations. You will employ your culinary and managerial skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.  ResponsibilitiesPromote and drive retail food sales Manage service levels to enhance customer satisfactionManage the Retail Food area (both FOH and BOH)Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menusWork together with our dietitians on menus and offerings for our residentsProduce high-quality plates both designEnsure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standardsLead and develop team and understand how to manage conflict with resolutionManage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule and assess staff’s performanceOrder supplies to stock inventory appropriatelyComply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersSkillsProven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Chef, or related field. Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresExcellent record of kitchen and staff managementAccuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutionsFamiliar with the industry’s best practicesBS degree in culinary science or a related certificate would be a plus
