System One has partnered with a local business in search of a Retirement Benefit Specialist. This person will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple retirement benefit plans, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation to meet service level requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process contributions and loan payments from clients
Manage income associated with plan funds
Conduct daily, weekly, and quarterly reconciliation of plans
Maintain contribution files and scan plan documents
Assist in setting up new plans on the Relius record keeping system
Support in the conversion of existing plans
Review reports for participant data accuracy
Resolve any issues that arise during processing
Manage file transfers between Relius and the Trust system
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
3 years of employee benefits and accounting experience preferred
Ability to follow various processing procedures
Deadline-oriented and able to handle fluctuations in workload
Proficient in Excel and complex spreadsheets
Strong reconciliation, organizational, and communication skills
Effective problem-solving abilities
Coordination with employee benefits administrators for work requests
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with trust systems such as SEI
Knowledge of Retirement Benefit systems like Relius
