Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior-level Electrical Engineering Wire Design & Installation Engineer – Level 4 (Virtual) who will provide engineering support to the Airborne Early Warning & Control aircraft.This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate.The Boeing portfolio of products supported by BDS Oklahoma City includes – but not limited to - Boeing Military Aircraft, Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C, AWACS, C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, KC-767, B-1B, B-2, B-52 and others).Position Responsibilities:Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designsAnalyzes results and performs design reviewsLeads the team to analyze results and performs design reviewsProvides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commoditiesDevelops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgetsPerforms technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selectionWorks under minimal direction.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry5+ years of experience in electrical engineeringPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active U.S. Security ClearanceABET accreditation is preferredPrevious experience in the defense or aerospace industryPrevious experience in Electrical Wire DesignTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
