SIGN SHOP - PLASTICS DEPT TECHNICIAN

Acura Neon Sign Company is family owned and operated and has been providing high quality signage for 37 years. We are looking for a multi-faceted person to join our team and head our plastics department. Experience in a sign shop environment a +.

Prefer that the candidate have 1+ years experience in a sign shop or manufacturing environment.

Experience in working with hands and a good understanding of measuring and cutting materials to exact job specifications.

Experience working with power tools.

Possess computer and file management skills.

Perform some routine machine maintenance.

Possess basic math skills and be able to work well under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work with sign shop tools and be comfortable working from a ladder, scaffold, scissor or aerial lift.

Must be able to work extended hours while standing and have the flexibility to lean over a waist-high table for extended periods of time.

Be responsible for the productivity and quality of work, willing to work as a team member and/or independently and manage time effectively. Multi-tasking skills are critical.

Must have excellent work ethic, dedicated, punctual and positive attitude.

Valid Driver’s license required and must be fluent in English.

Compensation based on experience ($15-$20/hr)

Full-time position M-F 8 hour shifts (some OT required occasionally)
