Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Auditor at the CPA level to assist our company in preparing for an upcoming audit. This is a temporary role that requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in financial auditing, advanced proficiency in Excel, and strong knowledge of QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and have a deep understanding of audit preparation processes.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Conduct detailed account reconciliations and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial documentation and information for the audit process.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to create complex financial models, pivot tables, and data analysis reports.
Perform in-depth analysis of financial records and transactions using QuickBooks to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Identify potential areas of risk and provide recommendations to mitigate issues before the audit.
Ensure all audit schedules and supporting documentation are accurate and complete.
Assist with any ad hoc financial reporting or analysis as needed during the audit preparation period.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably at a senior level.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
Strong experience with QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams.
