Job Title: Structural WelderJob DescriptionWe are looking for structural welders to join our team. You must be proficient in welding with Mig and Flux, reading blueprints, using tape measures, and setting ampage/voltage on welding machines. Additionally, you should be skilled in grinding welds and welding in the 3G (vertical) position.Responsibilities
Read blueprints and drawings to take or read measurements for planning layout and procedures.
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements.
Operate angle grinders to prepare parts that must be welded.
Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Mig and Flux welding.
Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
Knowledge and ability to set ampage/voltage on welding machines.
Skill in grinding welds.
Experience in welding in the 3G (vertical) position.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in fabrication and production.
Ability to determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
Experience in setting up components for welding according to specifications.
