Utility Supervisor

In addition, employees are also entitled to participate in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.  Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.Position Purpose: The Utility Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees who clean, fuel and check fluid levels for a fleet of diesel buses.Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Directly oversees all daily activities of the Utility Department including supervision of all Utility Workers Accounts for subordinate and personnel compliance with all Veolia's safety rules, policies and proceduresMonitor employee's performance of established proceduresPlans, organizes, and assigns daily work in Utility DepartmentMonitors performance of and efficiencies of the Utility DepartmentHold daily tailgate meetings with Utility WorkersPerform Post Inspections on vehicles that have been detailedProvide daily updates to Maintenance Manager and ClientAdminister daily reports for the Utility DepartmentResponsible for maintaining the storage areas of spare parts and equipmentOther duties as neededMust be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
