Job Description
Entry Level position ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Air Import department.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
- Track and trace Air Import files as required.
- Daily monitoring of in-transit delays & update of the appropriate event codes.
- Timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
- Ensure documents are timely sent to outside brokers for customs purposes.
- Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements.
- Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

- Willingness to engage with customers, vendors, government agencies, and the Expeditors network.
- Driven towards positive results through effective interpersonal skills, including abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely
- Proficient computer skills (including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook)
- Fluent in English
