We’re looking for a talented Android Engineer to join Procore’s mobile software development team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with other project stakeholders to design and build customer solutions on our Android platform.As an Android Engineer, you’ll partner intimately with our customer base, translating their fundamental needs into technological SaaS solutions. We’ll provide you with the tools and resources needed to achieve extraordinary results that render a significant impact extending beyond the boundaries of traditional engineering roles. This position will report to our Software Engineering Manager and has the opportunity to work remotely from any U.S. location, or flexibly from our Carpinteria, CA or Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.What you’ll do:Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and UX to design and build solutions that delight users and solve critical business problemsBuild new features leveraging the latest Android technologies, backed by robust unit tests and analyticsUtilize a customer-centric approach to lead architectural design decisions that improve scalability and performance for usersDevelop fellow teammates by conducting code reviews, providing mentorship, pairing, and training opportunitiesWhat we're looking for: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience2+ years of Engineering Experience (1+ years of experience building native Android applications using Kotlin)Understanding of Android’s architectural components (Room, LiveData, Jetpack, etc.) and the MVVM architecture. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work closely with others both within and adjacent to the existing team
