 Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead

 OverviewWe’re looking for Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead to join Procore’s Cybersecurity team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's incident response activities, ensuring the team is prepared to respond to any security incidents in a timely and effective manner.As a Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead, you’ll partner with senior leadership and collaborate with security analysts and forensic investigators to develop and maintain the incident response plan, investigate security incidents, and communicate the status and progress of incident response efforts to stakeholders. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the organization's incident response plan, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery procedures.Lead and coordinate the incident response team, including security analysts, forensic investigators, and other relevant stakeholders.Conduct tabletop exercises and other simulations to test the effectiveness of the incident response plan and identify areas for improvement.Investigate security incidents and identify the root cause, scope, and impact of the incident.Communicate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide timely and accurate updates on the status of incidents and the progress of the response effort.Conduct post-incident reviews and develop recommendations for improving incident response processes and procedures.Stay up-to-date on the latest threat intelligence and emerging trends in incident response and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the incident response program.

 QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response.Experience leading and managing incident response teams.Deep understanding of incident response processes and procedures, including incident classification, triage, containment, eradication, and recovery.Experience conducting forensic investigations and analyzing security incidents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or CISA.
