We’re looking for a Director of Event Marketing to join Procore’s Corporate Marketing Team. To successfully fulfill this role, you will need exceptional leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of both in-person and virtual event marketing strategy and operations, and validated experience executing best-in-class owned and third-party events. You will drive strategy, execution, and return on investment of third-party construction industry tradeshows, as well as Groundbreak, Procore’s annual in-person and virtual construction innovation conference. You’ll work closely with key stakeholder teams, inclusive of Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success Teams. Additionally, you will frequently interface with Procore’s executive leadership to provide both strategic and execution-focused updates regarding Groundbreak.This opportunity requires an individual with excellent organization and planning skills who can work autonomously with minimal supervision, but can also work effectively with others collaborating within a team environment. We're looking for candidates to join us immediately!What you’ll do:Lead the strategic planning of annual third-party tradeshows, in partnership with Demand Generation and Field Marketing Teams, ensuring alignment with key business objectives with other stakeholders throughout the organization Set the resourcing strategy for Event Marketing and effectively manage a team of event professionals and producers to successfully execute both third-party and owned events Lead the strategic growth planning of Procore’s annual construction innovation conference, GroundbreakManage the event marketing budget and return on investment, and appropriately manage and report out on spend-to-budget for all third-party and owned events Select and manage vendor relationships necessary to execute internal company-wide events; manage external vendor relationships, including overseeing the vendor selection process, negotiating budgets, and managing contracts Develop frameworks, guides, and best practices for event marketing logistics, including (but not limited to) equipment, technology, food and beverage, marketing collateral, activations, staffing, travel requirements, and more Communicate the impact of event marketing on Procore’s business and lead the measurement and reporting strategy of all third-party and owned events, spanning survey-based brand marketing metrics, lead generation/pipeline metrics, and customer loyalty metricsWork closely with internal stakeholder teams to ensure each event meets the overall goals of the companyWhat we’re looking for:15+ years of experience in event marketing and event production, inclusive of third-party and owned events5+ years of experience in virtual event marketing and event technology management (e.g., Bizaboo, ON24, CVent, Rainfocus, etc.) and supporting technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Monday.com, Workfront, Google Suite); 5+ years experience in B2B and SaaS event or field marketing; experience in the construction industry is a plus 5+ years managing event sponsorship strategies and execution; 5+ years experience in managing or working with teams to deliver a multi-channel event experience to boost event engagement and return on investment Experience managing large-scale events (such as customer conferences), including strategy, planning, execution, management, and reporting Direct pre-, post- and during-event operations Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-volume event calendar while working within a highly collaborative team environment Excellent leadership and management skills, including experience in building and growing teams and individuals and appropriately resourcing against business needsSuperb organization skills, with a focus on schedule and deadlines, with the ability to flex with dynamically changing priorities Demonstrated ability to be poised and effective during high-pressure situations; ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans with proper execution and communication Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication, or a related field paired with strong knowledge of the tradeshow industry, virtual events, and owned user conferences are preferred
