An electrical and civil consulting engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Quality Engineer to assist with design and engineering work during build phases of projects. This resource will act as the middle man between onsite construction teams and internal engineering teams. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Provide assistance to construction manager and internal resident engineers.
- Review and assess submittal packages including equipment manuals, training manuals, asset data collection, and others. - Ensure compliance by assisting construction manager and resident engineers with reviewing quality and approving contract documents. - Manage, prepare and deliver packages to the end client including field design copies, equipment manuals, as-built documents, test reports, etc. - Inspect contractor's Daily Inspection Reports, Materials Receiving Reports, and work sites Play of Day documents to monitor quality process from an engineering standpoint. - Assist in communication with engineering teams on quality updates and processes.- Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems OR Construction Management- Minimum 5+ years experience in electrical design/engineering OR electrical construction within power systems or civil transportation work- Professional experience doing quality control on designs and during build phases - Experience with Bluebeam- ID: #49543000
