Experienced Server @ Viking Southtowne

Viking Brewing's Southtowne restaurant is hiring experienced servers. The position is part time, starting around 20-25 hours per week, with the option to cover extra shifts as business steadily picks up in the Spring and Summer. The ideal applicant would be available on weekends and have a somewhat flexible schedule.

The Southtowne Pub is the in-town sister location to Viking Brewing Company, a locally owned brewery in West Eugene that specializes in honey ales. The Southtowne Pub is a full-service restaurant with a commitment to quality locally sourced ingredients and elevated offerings in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We pride ourselves on being a neighborhood staple, and a hidden gem in the Eugene craft beer and dining industry. The food menu is Scandinavian-inspired, to compliment our Norse-inspired draft list, and features recipes from all over the world, utilizing the Scandinavian food philosophy of harmonizing preserved with fresh. Our cocktail program centers around aquavit, the caraway-based spirit of Scandinavia, and the bar has one of the most extensive selections of aquavit in the PNW.

Must be able to multitask, communicate effectively with coworkers and customers, and maintain a clean and organized environment. We are looking for someone who values working as a team, and is serious about the restaurant and hospitality industry. Our crew takes pride in what we do, and we are seeking applicants who will add to that standard. Giving people a positive experience that they'll remember is what it's all about.
