- Effectively partnering with Development, DevOps, and other stakeholders during the planning/design stages of the development lifecycle to ensure solid definition (requirements/acceptance criteria) and champion a quality mindset throughout the development lifecycle
- Developing test plans that cover all functional and non-functional (usability, scalability/load, security, etc.) requirements for a given project and that meet the overall testing and quality assurance goals of the applications
- Executing test plans to identify bugs, missed requirements, performance issues, etc.
- Logging bugs, missed requirements, performance issues, etc. found during testing into a bug tracking system Jira
- Providing feedback on how to improve product solutions and other tools, and general process improvements
- Working with the Development Team to resolve bugs and verify that they are fixed
- Designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts in order to automate as much of the regression testing process as possible
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our test automation infrastructure and CI/CT practices
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in UI device/browser-based test automation using Java with Appium/Selenium
- Knowledge of common open source frameworks such as Page-Object models
- Strong experience with test-driven development approaches such as BDD, leveraging tools like Cucumber
- Hands on experience with Java and automated testing tools like Selenium
- Experience with cloud-based test automation solutions such as "SeeTest" or "Test Cafe"
- A high personal commitment to quality, implementing development, and testing best practices
