Job Title: hardware Rework Technician Job Location : Folsom, California Job ID: ITEKJP00022183 100% onsite HW rework capability Remove and replace surface mount (down to 0402 sizes) and through-hole components on PCBs. Disassembly and reassembly of engineering platforms. Replacement of general (HDD) to unique support components (specialty device heat sinks) Execute simple test steps from verbal and written instructions to verify engineering platform fundamental functionality Own first level debug steps to repair malfunctioning printed circuit boards. Work with Engineering to troubleshoot to root cause Enter rework and testing job results history into tracking documents. Ability to create and deploy OS images to broad range of hosts, and target engineering platforms Inventory Control Shipping and Receiving logistics Technology Associates/Trade degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in Python programming, batch scripting, bash scripts - PowerShell familiarity and execution strategy - 2+ years of experience in Software testing, debugging, setting up of various OS platforms(Windows, Linux, OSX, Raspbian) - Willingness to independently read specifications, provide critique and post-Si test execution. - Ability to write technical specification or similar technical documentation - Python Scripting Experience is an advantage
