A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.Qualifications:Required qualifications:Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, -OR- an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
National certification/registration as a Medical Assistant upon hire by:
American Medical Certification Association (AMCA),
Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA),
American Medical Technologists (AMT),
National Healthcareer Association (NHA),
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), -OR-
National Association for Healthcare Professionals (NAHP)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) - Must be American Heart Association (AHA) accredited
Six (6) months Healthcare experience
