Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Network Engineer with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Handle complex support issues for OGO Cloud and Disaster Recovery services. Utilizing tact and experience-based knowledge, this position researches, answers, and resolves client and internal support requests.
- Clarifies OGO's policies and procedures as a representative of the Company in a professional manner, maintaining positive client relations.
- Leads, supports, and troubleshoots disaster recovery testing, as necessary. Assists in restoring data with Backup Exec, Zerto, and StorageCraft product suites.
- Expediently responds to disaster declarations or production down critical issues in conjunction with other teams and management returning clients to normal or temporary operations during a disaster.
- Provides network support for switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, WAN/LAN, remote access, as well as 3rd party connections for testing or production needs.
- Coordinates with internal resources for escalated routing, hardware, and/or circuit issues, if necessary.
- Provides systems support for hosted services including Windows Server Suite, VMWare, Citrix virtualization, F5 traffic managers, hosted DNS, and a variety of security products for testing or production needs.
- Handles critical support issues during on-call rotation.
- Manage a ticket queue and document within each request all activities taken toward resolution.
- Continually involved in developing, documenting, planning, and participating in OGO's Business Continuity Plan.
- Adheres to OGO's IT Security policies and procedures.
- Serve on OGO committees such as security committee, change management committee, escalation committee, etc.
