What We'll Bring:In this position, you will be part of a cross-functional agile team and work closely with Developers, QA and DevOps to ensure the quality of our Device Risk product, primarily our device recognition. You will create and run automated and manual tests while looking for ways to improve the overall quality of the product. You will troubleshoot customer issues, and work with the team to release fixes to the customer. You will also be responsible for assisting in research for new collection methods, risk indicators, and patterns of suspicious behaviors amongst devices. You must be willing to be available during our core hours on Pacific Time.

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience in a scripting or programming (Python preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; ability to collaborate with team members
  • Willingness to collaborate with your team via video conference and/or team chat room

Impact You'll Make:

We'd love to see:
  • At least 2 years software QA experience
  • Experience testing software, including test plan and test case creation and execution
  • Experience developing and executing automated test frameworks
  • Strong working knowledge of QA methodologies in an agile environment
  • Experience in debugging, troubleshooting system and application problems
  • Experience testing APIs
  • Experience with Linux and command line interfaces
  • Experience with databases including an understanding of the differences between sql and no-sql datastores.
  • Experience testing large scale, high volume, high availability applications
  • Experience testing microservices
  • Experience with working in a SAFe framework
  • Experience testing or developing Java based services
  • Experience with business analytics or data research

Expectations in the first 90 days
  • Familiarity with services that the team is responsible for
  • Training in Agile methodologies and the tools used to support those
  • Participate in SAFe Program Increment planning ceremonies
  • Basic understanding of our core Device Recognition Technology
  • Trained and contributing to the testing frameworks and tools used

What you'll accomplish beyond 90 days
  • You will collaborate with team members and other teams to improve the Device Risk system.
  • You will troubleshoot customer issues and gain understanding of how our customers use our products.
  • You will contribute to the automation test suite.
  • You will continue to gain knowledge of the system and how to test it more effectively.
