Hilton Portland is seeking friendly and reliable team members to join us as FULL TIME Room Attendants!We are seeking hard working and detail-oriented Team Members who:- Have previous work experience as a housekeeper, janitor, or other dedicated cleaning role (required)- Can work a day shift any day of the week, including weekends and holidays- Previous hotel housekeeping experience a plus but not requiredWhat will I be doing?A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and stocking guest rooms to ensure Hilton's high standards of cleanliness. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
Strip and make beds, changing bed linens which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash
Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room
