Software DeveloperFull Time - Direct HirePortland, Oregon - 100% remote No Visa sponsorship available at this time Our client is looking for a Software Developer to be part of the Custom Development team, you will be responsible for delivering to our customers turn-key software solutions based on our Video Platform SDK. You will be an integral part of the software development cycle of these solutions.This position will join our high performing Custom Development team and will report to the Manager of Development. This is a remote position, but occasional travel to our Americas Headquarters on Portland, OR may be required.As an Employee, you are the key to our success.   • Creating and enhancing C# .NET integrations for the organization
  • Debugging and maintaining code base
  • Reporting and resolving issues related to our integrations and our API's
  • Working in a project team with other developers, and software test engineers
  • Identifying and handling technical risks and issues
  • Providing technical support to stakeholders
  • Reporting on project status
  • Active participation in project meetings
Required experienceTo be successful in this role, you will need technical understanding of programming in C#/.NET, our product and SDK are written in .NET on the Windows platform using Microsoft tools and technology. You will also need knowledge of network and databases, as well as web services and SQL. You will also utilize the following skills on a regular basis:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science preferred
  • C#, .NET, and Microsoft Visual Studio experience
  • A minimum of 4-7 years of active experience using C#
  • Knowledge of other coding and scripting languages (C, Java, Python, Powershell, etc)
  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Basic understanding of REST and SOAP API's
  • Knowledge of basic networking principles
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git preferred
  • Ability to write clean, easy to understand code
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Sound understanding of coding and development processes
  • Experience with working in an agile SCRUM environment
Nice to have
  • Experience with WPF
  • Experience with MVC/MVVM
  • Experience with software oreiented architecture
  • Experience with Cloud development on AWS or Azure
