Job Title: Staff Engineer
Job Location: Portland, OR Major Responsibilities: Design, code, and implement software applications using Agile methodologies. Develop software enterprise solutions in a service-oriented architecture, including service layers, service integration to User Interfaces (UI) and data, UI components, third-party integrations, and application refactoring. Participate in software architecture and framework extensions, including development of services and components (design, coding, and testing), system/subsystem definition, and interfaces. Define standards and guidelines for the definition and development of software applications, components, and services. Perform software requirements gathering and vendor and product evaluations. Telecommuting Permitted. Job Requirements: Applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus seven (7) years of work experience in related post-bachelor's degree employment. In lieu of this, Employer will accept a master's degree plus five (5) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus seven years of experience. Telecommuting permitted.
