DescriptionSurgical Technician at Providence Newberg Medical Center. This position is a 0.75 FTE Day shift.Works closely with all members of the surgical team to provide direct patient care in an effort to optimize positive surgical outcomes. Assists the surgeon and surgical team during the procedure by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments and equipment. Completion of a surgical technologist program accredited by a national accreditation organization AND holds a current surgical technologist certification issued by a nationally accredited certifying organization for surgical technologists, both approved by the Oregon Health Authority.
