Validation/Debug Engineer

Primary Location: Hillsboro, OR (Onsite from Day 1) V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking

Validation/Debug Engineer client in

Hillsboro, OR (Onsite from

Day 1). This is a

contract position.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Python Scripting
  • Server Hardware Architecture
  • Test Validation
  • Prior experience working in HPC (High Performance Computing) environment is a huge plus.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of PC architecture and Intel chipsets
  • Software validation experience, preferably in Linux
  • Development process, optimization techniques, and debugging/testing methodologies.
  • Proficient Python scripting, SSH protocols
  • Low-level software skills (i.e. kernel debug, device drivers) are a plus!
  • Strong Problem Solving skills
  • Passion for debug and the value it brings to hardware and software improvement
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Test Execution and validation. Understand the data from logs, triage, interpret and extract data
  • Ability to work with diverse communities and geographic locations
