Job Title: Windows Debugging EngineerLocation : Hillsboro, Oregon, USA (Remote to start with)Duration: 6-12 Months ContractNumber of Opening: 10+Description:Debugging and Triage in Windows Device Drivers Ingredients, like Graphics, Audio, Connectivity, USB Type-C, Power Management and Platform. Responsible for Analysis and Root-causing the issues. Debugging of driver issues using ITP & WinDbg tool.Skills to look for1. Must Have• STLC/SDLC - Dev/Test/Debug/Triage experience• Bug Life Cycle e.g HSD (Intel-specific), Jira, Bugzilla etc.• Log Capture/Log Analysis2. Good to Have• Pre/Post-Silicon Debug/Test experience• Knowledge of Intel x86 and x64 Architecture• Windows Device Driver Dev/Debug/Validation• Hands-on with Windows Debugging Tools → WinDbg• Board Bring-up experience integrating multiple components/chips/peripherals with the SoC.• Hands-on of Intel tools which includes ITP, XDP, Trace32, SoCWatch, Xperf, Batmon etc.• Hands-on with Putty/Teraterm, and Serial log capture, BIOS logs capture• Driver testing, API testing, Tool testing, Software Testing, Product Testing etc., Bug fixing and Development• System, Functional, Integration, Stress & Stability Testing, DPMO (Defects per Million Operations), DPMT (Defects per Million Tries)• C, Python & Bash Scripting• Other Keywords to look for : UEFI, I2C, USB, PCIe, JTAG, BKM (Best Known Method), RAM, DIMM, Power Cycling, HDD, SSD, DDR, Troubleshooting, NVMe3.
