Description We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. As an Accounting Assistant, you will undertake a variety of tasks such as maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process vendor invoices and prepare them for payment signature. Keep track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, etc. Ensure customer invoices are prepared and submitted on time. Efficiently code, post, and receipt payments. Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices and take appropriate action. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable data. Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient data entry and management. Perform bank reconciliations as part of auditing processes. Provide administrative assistance as required for efficient functioning of the accounts department. Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for efficient management of accounting functions.If interested, please send resume on a word document to Jim.Kirk@Roberthalf comRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with CaseWare Proficiency in using Concur software Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Capacity to perform Accounting Functions Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Auditing Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Administrative Assistance skills Experience in handling Payable Invoices Must have a degree in accounting or a relevant field Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Familiarity with chemical manufacturing industry is a plus.
