Accounts Payable

Description At Robert Half, we are looking for candidates for accounts payable roles that we have available in the York area. Our clients are interested in hiring very quickly on a temporary to permanent basis. Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable invoices and payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Matching, Batching, and Coding invoices

Maintain accurate financial records and control reports.

Review purchase orders and vendor invoices.

Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.

Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all accounts payable balances.

Respond to internal and external inquiries.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Excellent data entry skills.

Strong knowledge of 'accounts payable' and general accounting procedures.
